The 1996 Trophée Lalique was the Trophée Lalique Grand Prix competition of the 1996-1997 figure skating season. It was a senior-level international competition. It was organized by the Federation Française des Sports de Glace. Medals were awarded in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
In 1996, Trophée Lalique was held in the Palais omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, from 15 November through 17th.
The compulsory dance was the Golden Waltz and the original dance was the Tango.
